Nursing Lecturer

Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer in Nursing.

Qualifications and Experience

• Masterʼs Degree in Education or Nursing Education
• Knowledge of Tertiary Education System will be an asset.
• Post basic training certification in a related specialization (Nursing).
• Must be a Registered Nurse with current license to practice Nursing in Jamaica.
• At least three years nursing experience.
• At least two years teaching experience.

Requirements

• Teach both the clinical and theoretical areas of Nursing.
• Demonstrate technical knowledge, skills and principles of teaching.
• Maintain supportive professional relationship with students.
• Display good oral and written communication skills.
• Promote team work and co-operation
